At the time of your choice, head to The View at The Battery, where you'll board the ferry that will take you to Liberty Island. Ready to set sail?
During the trip, you'll learn the history of Liberty Island thanks to an audio guide available for download onto your smart device. For example, did you know that its name used to be Bedloe's Island? In 1956, then-President Eisenhower signed it into law!
Once you reach the island, you'll get an up-close view of the Statue of Liberty, one of the most famous monuments in New York. Here, you can also access the Statue's museum and tour the island at your own pace.
Afterward, you can take the ferry to Ellis Island, home to the Immigration Museum. Here, learn about the historic lives of immigrants who came to the United States between the 19th and 20th centuries.
After the visit, you'll return to the starting point in Battery Park.
