Manhattan Viewpoints in Hoboken
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Ferry NY Waterway to catch a ferry across the Hudson River to Hoboken, New Jersey. Ready to see some of the best views of the New York skyline? Let's go!
Despite being in New Jersey, did you know that Hoboken is known as New York's 6th District due to its proximity? From here, you'll see Upper Manhattan, Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan. The views are absolutely incredible! We'll help you spot iconic buildings such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler, the Edge or the One World Trade Center, among many others.
As well as admiring the stunning views, we'll also visit several spots in Hoboken. We'll explore Maxwell Place Park, a huge green space on the riverside, which is another great spot to observe the iconic skyline. You may even see some geese cooling off. We'll also uncover Elysian Park, which has been in many Hollywood films including Transformers, Star Trek and Terminator 2. It's also where the first ever game of baseball was played!
Then, we'll take a trip to Stevens Institute of Technology, a very prestigious old university. We'll stroll around its campus and go inside several buildings of the famous fraternities. Afterwards, we'll go to Castle Point Observation Terrace, the highest point in the city, where you'll have more stunning views of Manhattan.
Next, you'll have the chance to take a photo by the Frank Sinatra Statue. Finally, we'll head to Erie-Lackawanna Hoboken Terminal. This incredible train station opened in 1907 and has been very well preserved.
After a total of 3 hours, we'll end our tour here. We'll give you bus tickets so that you can make your own way back to Manhattan. See you next time!
