Explore New York City Food & Culture
Welcome to the Big Apple! New York City is home to fashion, culture, and, of course, food. We'll meet at the indicated time at 110 South 7th Ave, in the heart of Lower Manhattan to kick off this classic food tour of New York. Get ready to savor the most traditional flavors of the city!
Our food tour will take us through 6 spots in the historic West Village, rich in traditional flavors. We'll sample dishes from long-standing, family-owned establishments that have passed down recipes through generations, helping to shape New York's culinary reputation. Plus, we'll try modern treats that keep the city's food scene fresh and exciting.
During our route, we'll indulge in authentic New York flavors, like the classic New York slice of pizza, fresh from the oven. We'll also sample classic Italian flavors like rice balls and salami—delicious examples of how New York's immigrant history helped shape the West Village. Plus, we'll also try a New York bagel! Do you know what makes them so special? We'll find out on the tour!
And of course, no food tour would be complete without a stop for a sweet treat. We'll stop at a neighborhood cupcake shop that's garnered fame since appearing on Food Network's hit show “Cupcake Wars.” From here, we'll move into Greenwich Village, where we'll find a legendary cheese shop, revered in the neighborhood for its commitment to helping the community and fostering education.
Then, to wrap up our tour, we'll end our route at the famous Porto Rico coffee shop. Here, we'll indulge in a cup of coffee at one of the oldest coffee shops in the city, the perfect end to a tasty food tour.
After a flavorful 2 hours, we'll bring the experience to an end at this final stop.
