East Coast Tour Package: 5 Days

Day 1: New York - Finger Lakes - Niagara Falls

At 6:30 am the tour will depart from New York and drive towards the Finger Lakes region. Along the way, you can admire the remarkable scenery of the Delaware Water Gap and the Watkins Glen State Park. 

Upon arrival in Niagara Falls, we'll see the picturesque Seneca Lake, surrounded by vineyards and quaint towns. From here, we'll tour the American Falls, Goat Island and Luna Island. 

Before going back to our Niagara Falls hotel, Ramada by Wyndham, we'll see the beautiful colours of the waters at night.

Day 2: Niagara Falls - Toronto - 1000 Islands

The tour will start by taking in the stunning views of Horseshoe Falls and visiting the charming village of Niagara on The Lake. Then, we'll make our way to Toronto, the most populous city in Canada.

We'll visit Toronto's important locations including, the HTO Park, the Hockey Hall of Fame - Brookfield Place,  City Hall and The Distillery Historic District. 

In the afternoon we'll leave Toronto and visit one of the five Great Lakes of North America, Lake Ontario, before arriving in the 1000 Islands area. We'll stay overnight in the Gananoque Comfort Inn.

Day 3: 1000 Islands - New York

We'll begin the day with a cruise along the St. Laurence River in the famous 1000 Islands archipelago, a popular summer destination in the 19th century. Keep an eye out for the stunning houses on the private islands including Boldt Castle and Heart Island. 

As we head back to New York, we'll stop at one of the largest outlet shopping centres. In the evening we'll stay at La Quinta Inn and Suites in Clifton, New Jersey.

Day 4: New Jersey - Philadelphia - Washington DC

For this day of the tour, we'll leave New Jersey and go to the largest city in Pennsylvania. We'll visit the historic area of Philadelphia and stop at monuments including the Liberty Bell, Constitution Square, Congress Hall and America's oldest continuously inhabited street: Elfreth's Alley.

We'll also explore the city's financial district, Benjamin Franklin Parkway and many more important sites. Next, we'll stop at the 'Rocky Steps', at the entrance of the Museum of Art, known for its scene in the film 'Rocky'. From here we'll head to Lancaster County, America's oldest Amish settlement.

In the afternoon we'll make our way to Washington arriving in the evening and staying at the Wyndham Garden Hotel.

Day 5: Washington DC - New York

Our first stop of the day will be the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, overlooking the remarkable Tidal Basin surrounded by Japanese cherry blossom trees. Then we'll visit the Arlington National Cemetery, the Changing of the Guard and the Kennedy family gravesite.

Next, we'll admire Capitol Hill, and visit the US Capitol, the White House while we learn more about the US government. Following on, we'll go to the Air and Space Museum, and the Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Korea and Vietnam Memorials.

We'll leave Washington and arrive in New York in the evening, where the tour will end.

In April the itinerary will change for Day 2, depending on weather conditions we may go back to Niagara Falls to stay the night at Wyndham Super 8.
