Chicago is set in the mid-20th century in the "City by the Lake" and tells the story of an apparently innocent actress who dreams of following the steps of the artist Velma Kelly to succeed in life. Roxie meets Velma when these two are put in jail, both accused of murder. From then on, Velma and Roxie fight for the limelight and to demonstrate their innocence.

Chicago has been awarded 6 Tony Awards, 2 Laurence Olivier Awards and 1 Grammy, among many others. The musical includes contemporary topics like corruption or media manipulation, making it a resounding success and one of the best musicals on Broadway. Llegamos al teatro con media hora de antelación e hicimos una cola muy rápida. Enseñamos los códigos QR que nos habían facilitado desde Broadway vía email un par de semanas antes. Nos llevaron a nuestros asientos. Estuvimos en segunda fila, desde donde se veía todo de maravilla. El Musical es una auténtica pasada; insuperable. Estamos encantadas. We got to the theater half an hour early and queued up very quickly. We showed the QR codes that had been provided to us from Broadway via email a couple of weeks before. We were shown to our seats. El teatro estaba lleno y me tocó la fila 3. Muy escorado hacia un lado, pero se veia bien. El show espectacular, los ballarines de 10. La función tiene 2 partes; la primera sublime, la segunda no tanto. Además en el descanso mucha gente va al WC y como se forman tantas colas luego vuelven tarde a los asientos, causando molestias. Creo que seria mejor que la función se hiciera sin parar. Es como que se rompe un poco la magia y el ritmo de la primera parte...No tiene que ver con Civitatis, claro. The theater was full and I got row 3. Very tilted to one side, but it looked good. The spectacular show, the dancers of 10. The function has 2 parts; the first sublime, the second not so much. Also, during the break, many people go to the WC and since there are so many queues, they return to their seats late, causing inconvenience. I think it would be better if the function was done without stopping. It's like the magic and the rhythm of the first part are broken a bit... It has nothing to do with Civitatis, of course. En un principio estaba un poco disgustada porque no sabía donde nos ibamos a sentar pero cuando fui a recoger las entradas (las tenían apartadas), la situación del asiento no pudo ser mejor. Estuvimos en la 3ª fila en la parte central de abajo. Parecía que los tenías al lado. Fue espectacular. Todo un espectáculo de Brodway.

El de seguridada en el teatro nos dijo que no se recogia las entradas alli y nos hizo dar mil vueltas. Finalmente era como se nos indico en el bono y en la taquilla estaban. No os dejeis marear se recogen en taquilla. Muy buenos asientos!! Genial el musical!!
