Go back in time while you enjoy a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world.
Central Park Carriage Rides
Central Park is New York’s most important green-space and one of the favourite places for New Yorkers to rest and do outdoor sports. A great way to explore the biggest park in New York City is by taking a carriage and relaxing while you are driven past some of the Park’s most famous monuments and landmarks.
During 45 or 55 minutes the rhythm of the carriage being pulled along by the horse and the gentle click-clack of the hooves will transport you to a tranquil oasis in the heart of the City that Never Sleeps.
A carriage only takes up to 4 adults or 3 adults and 2 children (less than 12 years old).
Schedule
You can enjoy your carriage ride every day at any moment between 10 am and 11 pm.
Important
- New York City has set some rules and regulations for carriage rides in the city. Carriages may not operate above 89ºF (32 ºC) or below 19ºF (-7 ºC). The rides will be cancelled if there is heavy rain or snowfall. If you have booked a carriage ride and it is cancelled due to weather conditions, your ticket will be valid for the following day.
- There are less carriages available between 4 pm and 6:30 pm, since drivers change their shift.
