This is a scene far removed from the normally well-ordered North American cemeteries. The chaos of the St. Louis cemetery, just like New Orleans itself, seems taken from a different continent and a different era.
During the guided tour, you'll see the tombs of some famous, and infamous, characters from the city's history. One of the most feared figures of New Orleans rests here, Marie Laveau. Hearing the story of this voodoo queen will surely leave your hairs standing on edge. Did you know that, despite being still alive, Nicolas Cage's tomb is here? The actor has built himself a pyramid-shaped mausoleum here as his final resting place - your guide will give you all the details on the day of your tour!
