Houmas House, located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, is considered a unique attraction, both inside as well as outside. You'll be able to see its impressive art collection and perfectly preserved antique furniture.
Additionally, we'll tell you about what life was like on a plantation in the south of the USA during some of the country's most controversial years. It'll feel like you're travelling back in time!
Opening Hours
The Houmas House Estate is open from 9 am to 8 pm. Please be aware that guided tours in English take place every half an hour, so you can choose to join one upon arriving at the estate or explore it on your own. The first tour starts at 9:30 am and the last one is at 7 pm.
