Patagonian Steppe + Bubalcó Zoo Tour
Patagonian Steppe + Bubalcó Zoo Tour
After picking you up at your hotel in Neuquén at the appointed time, we'll set off into the vast landscapes of the Argentinian Patagonia and get ready to be amazed by the scenery!
We'll take a tour through the Patagonian steppe, where we'll see how its vast terrain stretches as far as the eye can see. The landscape in this part of South America is characterised by vast plains with the Andes mountain range looming on the horizon.
As we travel through this area, we'll learn some interesting facts about the animals of the Patagonian steppe. The main animals of this ecosystem are the guanaco, the puma and the Patagonian mara, but there are many more species that we'll discover during the tour.
We'll continue our tour to the province of Río Negro, where we'll visit the famous Bubalcó Zoo. In this huge reserve, which covers an area of 34 hectares, we'll see guanacos, llamas, fjord ponies, Somali sheep and greater rhea bird, as well as many other fascinating species!
You'll have lunch on your own at the zoo and, after regaining your strength, we'll return to Neuquén. You're expected to arrive at your hotel five to six hours after the start of the tour.
