Caminhos Cruzados Winery Tour
Caminhos Cruzados Winery Tour
Upon reservation, you'll have two options to choose from. Both options include an English-speaking guide, entry to the bodega and a visit to the vineyards. Each of the options is described in detail below:
Tour with wine tasting x 3 wines (1 hour)
With this option, you'll wander through Caminhos Cruzados Winery's extensive vineyards, more than 30 acres of land! You'll learn about this prized product in Dão, one of Portugal's most established wine regions located in the Beira Alta province.
Then, we'll head inside the bodega to discover the different stages of the winemaking process and learn the differences between the winery's three reds: Terras de Nelas, Terras de Santar and Holder. We'll finish the experience with the tasting of three wines. You'll become a wine expert as you fine-tune your palate!
Tour with lunch and wine pairings (2 hours 30 minutes)
We'll visit the vineyards and the bodega, and then sit down for a lunch with wine pairings. The menu will include an appetizer of local cheeses and cured meats, the choice of a main dish between grilled cod or beef, as well as crème brûlée or chocolate mousse for dessert.
Timetable
The timetable varies depending on the option chosen:
- Tour with wine tasting x 3 wines: Monday to Saturday at 11 am, 3 pm or 5 pm.
- Tour with lunch and wine pairings: Monday to Saturday at 12 pm.
