Black River & YS Falls Day Trip
Black River & YS Falls Day Trip
We'll pick you up at 8 am from your hotel in Negril to set off on our trip to the Black River.
We'll enjoy a pleasant hour and a half long drive to the south coast of Jamaica. Once we arrive, we'll board a boat to cruise the Black River, one of the longest rivers on the island at 53 kilometres. We'll discover the plants and wildlife that surround it and admire the indigenous birds, such as the beautiful herons. Did you know that this river is the home of the Jamaican crocodile?
Next, we'll make our way back to the mainland to taste a traditional Jamaican meal before heading to the picturesque YS Falls. In this stunning natural spot in the middle of the jungle, the waterfall cascades into an idyllic natural swimming pool. You can enjoy a swim in this tropical paradise, which has become one of the most famous images of Jamaica. You can also take a walk along the river path or sunbathe on its banks.
At the end of the day, we'll take you back to your hotel in Negril at 5 pm.
Alternative Departure
You can also book this trip from Falmouth, Montego Bay, Runaway Bay and Ocho Rios.
