Archaeological tour of Nazca (2 hours)
Just 2.5 miles north of Nazca are the Cantalloc aqueducts, more than 40 underground tunnels that were used by the ancient Nasca people to get water. We will travel through the whole area to understand the work that past civilizations did in this part of Peru, the techniques were typical of high hydraulic technology! We will complete this two-hour tour by approaching the Cantalloc geoglyphs and the Paredones ruins, built mostly of adobe.
Archaeological tour of Nazca + Antonini Museum (4 hours)
With this private tour, besides knowing the aqueducts of Cantalloc, its geoglyphs, and the Paredones ruins, we will visit the Antonini Archaeological Museum. We will explore the different rooms to discover the numerous, valuable pieces recovered during the research work in the ceremonial center of Cahuachi.
Antonini Museum Tour + Pottery and Gold Workshops (2 hours)
If you would like to discover the most artisan works of the Nasca culture, then we will head to the Antonini Archaeological Museum. After discovering all the pieces that have been found in the site of Cahuachi, we will approach a ceramic workshop of Nazca. Here we will learn the ancient techniques used to elaborate handmade ceramic pieces of the Nasca culture. We will also visit a gold workshop.
