Complete Nazca Tour
Complete Nazca Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca at the time of your choice and go to the aqueducts of Cantalloc. We will go through the underground channels used by the locals to get water in the past. After learning about the work done by the Nazca, we will see the geoglyphs of Cantalloc and the Paredones ruins, other cultural manifestations of this ancient civilization.
We will continue the tour in the Antonini Archaeological Museum, a perfect place to see the pieces that were recovered in the research work done in the ceremonial center of Cahuachi.
We will leave the museum and you will have one hour of free time to have lunch at a restaurant in the area. With our batteries charged, we will travel to the Chauchilla cemetery which is home to numerous open-air tombs. There, we will learn the terrifying secrets of the mummies that rest there, and the reasons for their positions.
Finally, we will approach the Nazca Lines. We will visit the different viewpoints that offer us the best views of these famous geoglyphs, identifying the figures, and discovering all their enigmas. We will also enter the Maria Reiche Museum, the researcher par excellence of these symbols of the Nazca culture.
We will finish the tour leaving you at your hotel after twelve hours of exploring the essential Nazca sites.
Flight over the Nazca Lines
If you want your experience to be even more complete, we recommend that you book the tour which includes a 35-minute flight over the Nazca Lines. In this case, after the previous tour, we will go to Maria Reiche Neumman airport and take off in a small plane to admire these mysterious geoglyphs from a bird's eye view. Among the wonderful, curious shapes here are the condor, the spider, the monkey, and the hummingbird.
Finally, with your feet back on the ground, you will have one hour of free time to eat at a local restaurant.
