At the scheduled time, we'll meet up in the courtyard of the Fauzi Azar Hostel and begin our free tour of Nazareth. This 200-year-old Arab house was renovated and is now one of the main accommodations in the city.
After learning a bit about the house, we'll set off on our walk through the Old City of Nazareth by going to Mary's Well. According to Christian tradition, this is where the Annunciation took place, the moment when the archangel Gabriel tells the Virgin that she will give birth to the Son of God.
We'll continue our free tour of Nazareth passing by the White Mosque and the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation. We'll also stop at the Basilica of the Annunciation, which, unlike the previous church, is dedicated to Catholic worship.
The route will continue to the Old Market of Nazareth. Here we'll visit the different stalls to see the amazing variety of spices, fruits, and other products that can be found in this bustling place.
Finally, after an hour of sightseeing, we'll conclude the free tour in front of the Abu Salem Café, the oldest coffee shop in Israel.
