World Heritage Monasteries Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Nazaré at the scheduled time and set off for our first stop on the trip: the Alcobaça Monastery.
Considered the first Gothic work in Portugal, it's been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989, and you'll see why! You'll have an hour and a half of free time to explore this fascinating building at your leisure.
Afterwards, we'll hit the road again, this time heading to Batalha to visit the Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery, a place of great architectural and historical value. In fact, it's one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal! You'll have an hour of free time to head inside and explore or get something to eat in the area.
Lastly, we'll make our way to Tomar to visit the Convent of Christ, located inside Templar Castle, and the third UNESCO World Heritage Site we'll visit on our trip! After enjoying an hour of free time in Tomar, we'll begin the return journey to Nazaré, arriving 7 hours after departure.
