Ride the biggest waves in Portugal enjoying surf lessons in Nazaré! Learn to handle the board and practise surfing techniques with expert instructors in the Atlantic Ocean.
Nazaré Surf School
At your selected time, we'll meet up at the surf school located on Avenida da Republica in Nazaré. Did you know that this beautiful beach is home to the biggest waves in Portugal? What better place to learn how to surf!
After getting kitted out with wetsuits and all the surfing equipment we'll need, we'll make our way down to Nazaré's large beach. We'll start with some warm-up exercises on the sand before learning the basic safety techniques that will allow us to handle the surfboard easily.
It'll then be time to put theory into practice, and we'll head down to the water - the ocean awaits! All we'll have to do is wait for the perfect moment to catch one of Nazaré's famous waves!
As you gain more confidence on the surfboard, your skill will improve. Surfing requires a lot of patience but once you've got the hang of it, you'll love it!
At the end of the activity, which lasts an hour and a half, we'll return to the surf school.
