Sao Miguel do Gostoso Self Guided Trip
We will pick you up from your Natal hotel between 7 and 8 am, and head in the direction of São Miguel do Gostoso. After about a two-hour journey, we'll arrive at the small fishing port with charming beaches, perfect for a relaxing day on the coast of Rio Grande do Norte.
The moment we arrive, you'll see how the coastal homes surrounded by vegetation make for a beautiful bucolic landscape. Walking along the town's picturesque streets, you can admire the historic architecture of the buildings with the backdrop of the sea. Not to mention, this part of the Brazilian coast offers waves and an ocean breeze that are perfect conditions for lovers of watersports like windsurfing and kitesurfing.
If you like, you can also visit the start of the BR-101, a major highway that passes through 12 Brazilian states. There, you'll find a monument by the famous architect, Oscar Niemeyer.
You'll also have time to discover the local gastronomy. Be sure to try cachaça, a distilled spirit made from sugarcane juice. Or, if you prefer, you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches, such as Tourinhos, Maceió, Ponta de Santo Cristo, and Xêpa. The perfect afternoon under the sun!
At the end of our trip we will take you back to Natal where you will arrive at your hotel between 4 and 5 pm.
