Rota dos Nativos 4x4 Tour

  • 3 reviews | 17 travellers
The tour was amazing! However, we were surprised by the “mandatory” 20 reais entrance fee, and the lunch spot was super expensive, and we were kind of put there as if it was the only option. I think it would be interesting to include the additional costs in advance or already in the tour price. 20 reais for Aqualand, 8 reais for cashew trees, 150 reais for quad bikes, 100 reais per person for lunch. This way, tourists can organize themselves better and know that they will spend more on the day of the tour.

Rota dos Nativos 4x4 Tour

Between 7:10 am and 8 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Natal and start touring the south coast of this town aboard a 4x4. Let's adventure through Rota dos Nativos!

The first stop of the day will be in Parnamirim, where we'll see the exterior of the Brazilian Air Force rocket launching center. We'll take a trip back in time, specifically to the year 1965, to review the history of this base. Did you know that it's also known as Hell's Barrier?

In Parnamirim we'll also see the Cajueiro de Pirangi, the largest cashew tree in the world, which occupies an area of over 91,493 ft² (8,500 m²) and is more than 1,000 years old!

The next part of the route will be dedicated to visiting the most beautiful beaches of Rota dos Nativos, such as Pirangi do Sul or Rio Doce. You can take a refreshing dip in lagoons such as Arroz, Cambará or Alcaçuz, where there will be paddleboards and paddles, pedalo boats and kayaks available for you to use.

The lunch break will be at Arituba Lake or Camurupim. Here you can have lunch on your own and enjoy a complimentary tropical fruit platter. The last stops of the tour will be the dolphin lookout and the Búzios dunes, a landscape that will captivate you from beginning to end.

We'll finish the tour between 5:10 pm and 6 pm and drop you back off at your hotel.
