The Country Music Capital of the World, Nashville is also the state capital of Tennessee. On this walking tour, we'll tour Downtown Nashville to learn about the history and major landmarks of the music city.
Nashville Guided Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet outside the Sheraton Hotel to begin this guided tour of Nashville. During the tour, we'll focus on exploring Downtown Nashville, where the major landmarks of Tennessee's capital city are located. Welcome to the Capital of Country Music!
As soon as we start, we'll see the War Memorial Auditorium, built after World War I, the Tennessee Capitol, and iconic sculptures such as that of former U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
We'll stroll down Sixth Avenue in search of Nashville's urban art murals. We'll tell you about the ambitious street decoration project that started in the city in 2016 while we see works such as Herakut, Rone, or Curiot. Also, we'll learn the iconic value hidden in these colorful graffiti.
The guided tour will continue through Printer's Alley, where we'll see legendary bars such as Skull's Rainbow Room. Here we'll delve into the history of the city's recording industry - country music is definitely one of Nashville's greatest attractions!
Next, we'll continue our tour admiring the facades of historic buildings such as the Southern Turf, the Cohen Building, the Ryman Auditorium, or the Downtown Presbyterian Church. We'll also learn many interesting facts about all of them and you'll be able to take hundreds of pictures.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll finish our tour of Downtown Nashville at the Assembly Food Hall.
