South Kenya 6-Day Tour Package

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and take you to Amboseli National Park, where we'll begin one of the most memorable adventures you'll ever take.

First, we'll have a delicious meal at the hotel in Amboseli. Then, in the afternoon, we'll embark on the first safari route through the national park, which is bordered by an arid landscape with multiple volcanic hills. As we'll soon see, it's home to large herds of elephants, thousands of bird species, gazelles, and buffalo, so keep your eyes peeled!

Plus, we'll even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. Make sure your cameras are ready!

Finally, we'll head back to our accommodation at the end of the day to rest.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

The early birds get the worm on our second safari day! We'll wake up and head straight to the feet of Mount Kilimanjaro to witness a stunning sunrise over the mountain peak. With this breathtaking scenery in the background, we'll have breakfast setting the scene for an excellent day.

From here, we'll head to a Maasai community. There, we'll see traditional music and dances the tribe uses for its various ancestral rituals. Here, we'll immerse ourselves in the Maasai culture and see what their houses look like while getting to know their customs.

Following this cultural exchange, we'll continue exploring Amboseli in search of wild animals. Did you know over 300 bird species live in this area alone?

Finally, we'll finish the day at our accommodation in Amboseli where you'll have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Welcome to day 3! We'll have breakfast, leave Amboseli behind, and make our way to Lake Naivasha. This freshwater lake, one of Kenya's most significant bodies of water, is home to many hippopotamus families. Plus, it's surrounded by papyrus fields used by the local fisherman. This is the same plant that was used to produce paper in ancient Egypt!

The best part about exploring this lake by boat you ask? It allows us the opportunity to get a closer look at families of hippopotami playing in the cool water! The day will end with our return to our Naivasha accommodation where you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own pace.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Early in the morning, we'll depart from our accommodation in Naivasha and go to one of Kenya's most visited sites: the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On our way there, we'll also see the Rift Valley and may glimpse other wild animals. Keep your eyes peeled!

As we reach Maasai Mara, we'll stop at the hotel to freshen up. Then, after lunch, we'll jump in a car and head out for a safari. Lions, giraffes, elephants, and cheetahs abound along our route on our 4th day. Plus, if you're traveling between July and August, you can even see the wildebeest migration, when thousands of these animals cross the Mara River accompanied by zebras and antelopes. It's one of the most memorable events in the animal kingdom!

At the end of the day, we'll head to our Maasai Mara accommodation.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve

We'll start with breakfast at the resort. Then, we'll set off on a safari across the national reserve in search of the animal species we missed the previous day. We'll be able to see all the areas of Maasai Mara, as we have another day to appreciate its vast grasslands.

In addition, we'll sweeten the pot even more, as we enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, one of the most memorable meals you'll ever have in your life!

We'll continue spotting elephants, giraffes and lions that live in the Masai Mara before returning to the lodge.

Day 6: Maasai National Reserve - Nairobi

The end of the safari is here! We'll have breakfast at the hotel and return to Nairobi. Before arriving at your hotel in the Kenyan capital, we'll make a stop to rest and have lunch in a local restaurant. 

Then, we'll end the adventure at approximately 5 pm. We hope you will leave in love with Kenya!
