Dinner at The Carnivore
Dinner at The Carnivore
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and head to one of the most famous restaurants in the Kenyan capital: The Carnivore.
The dinner will start with a light soup of the day, and after that, the waiters will serve you a sizzling iron dish full of homemade bread with butter. Now the 'true' dinner begins, The staff will pass around the restaurant offering a Maasai sword full of generous portions of a variety of meat. We hope you're hungry! We're serving up chicken, lamb, and crocodile meats for your enjoyment!
The meat will be served already via the restaurant's large in-house grill, but you'll be able to cook it more on your sizzling dish if you so wish. Not only that, but you can eat as much as you want! We recommend trying all the different types of meat, and once you've tried them all you can ask for more of your favorite.
Meat is not the only thing on offer; a selection of salads and vegetables will also be served as an accompaniment. There is also a competition during the dinner. Each table has a flag, and when you can't manage any more food, you take the flag down and the waiters will stop serving you more. The winner is the last table to take the flag down. Who will last the longest?
To end on a sweet note, you'll then be served coffee and a delicious African dessert, and then we will take you back to your hotel in Nairobi, arriving 4 hours later with full bellies!
