Kimakia Forest Hike
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Nairobi and begin an adventure that'll leave you stunned. Fancy an exciting hiking route? Let's go!
We'll leave Nairobi behind and travel for around 2 hours through the Kenyan countryside until we reach the Kimakia Forest, at the Muranga border with Kiambu. Once we've arrived to the start of the trail, we'll begin hiking, where we'll be entirely surrounded by nature.
As we walk, we'll admire the natural beauty of Kimakia. In addition, we'll see an enormous forest of native trees, a giant Mugumo tree and the Chania and Ragia rivers.
Later on, we'll reach one of the most beautiful points on this tour, the Kimakia Waterfalls, which stand around 60 metres (196 ft.) in height. The perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. We'll have a delicious typical lunch and then we'll continue our hike by heading back to the starting point.
Finally, we'll hop back on the minibus and make our return journey back to Nairobi, where we'll bring this tour to an end after 8 hours.
