Tour Details

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

We'll pick you up from Nairobi Airport or your hotel and head to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where we'll start this 7-day safari in Kenya.

As we make our way there, we'll stop at the Great Rift Valley, a 4,830 km (3,000 mile) long geological fracture. Here, we'll take a 10 to 15-minute break where we can also get incredible photos.

Upon arriving at our destination, we'll have lunch and then start a game drive to see elephants, buffalos, wildebeest, gazelles, and cheetahs. The safari will last about 2 hours before returning to camp for a buffet dinner.

After dinner, the evening is yours to enjoy and rest up for tomorrow's adventures.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

On the second day, we'll have breakfast and continue exploring Maasai Mara, one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife. Fun fact: the reserve owes its name to the Masaai tribe, an aboriginal population who maintain their ancestral customs and still live in this area.

This fascinating landscape, located on the border with Tanzania, is another ideal spot to admire wildlife in all its glory. Home to Africa's Big Five- Lions, Cheetahs, the African Elephant, Buffalos, and the Black Rhino (which is in danger of extinction)- we'll try to spot them all.

At midday, we'll stop for a picnic lunch in the reserve. Then, we'll go see the spot of the yearly wildebeest migration. Over 1.5 million animals pass through this site annually in search of fresh pasture. Along the way, we'll also glimpse resident crocodiles and hippos lounging along the Mara River banks.

As the sun begins to set, we'll return to camp for dinner, where you can rest for the evening.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we'll head off towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Before we set off, you can opt for an optional visit to a Maasai Mara village, where we'll interact with the locals and get a feel for their daily life.

As we make the 4-hour drive to Lake Nakuru, we'll stop along the way for lunch. Then, we'll arrive in Nakuru, where the rest of the day is yours to enjoy the facilities on-site and rest up for another day of adventures ahead.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we'll get our explorer hats on and set off into the park for a 3-4 hour game drive through Lake Nakuru. This impressive lagoon, protected by the Ramsar Convention, is home to lake, woodland, and grassland ecosystems, creating a rich blend of biodiversity.

At Lake Nakuru, we'll see flamingos, which thrive in these waters, as well as white and black rhinos and giraffes that come to the lake to cool off. Following our game drive, we'll have lunch within the park. From here, we'll make our way to Lake Naivasha, where we'll set off on an exciting 1-hour boat ride

During our sail, we'll see many different kinds of birds that call this area home. Birds like pelicans and eagles, and we may even spot some hippos lounging along the banks of the lake.

Once our boat ride comes to an end, feel free to take part in additional activities. You can opt to visit Crescent Island or go on a 2-hour horse riding experience.

In the evening, we'll arrive at our hotel for dinner and rest for the night in Lake Naivasha.

Day 5: Hell's Gate - Amboseli National Park

We'll wake up early to enjoy breakfast and then head to the Hells Gate National Park, a short 40-minute drive away. Hell's Gate National Park, located by Lake Naivasha, is known for its stunning landscapes. Here, it will be easy to spot buffalos and antelopes running wild, as well as many birds.

As we arrive at the park, we'll set off on an exciting bike tour to enjoy the great diversity of animals that live in the park. Then, we'll continue our route to the famous Hell's Gate Gorge, which is full of incredible geological structures. Some of these areas have even formed caves we'll be able to walk through!

If you would prefer not to take the bike tour, you can explore the park on foot and check out the additional activities available. Try your hand at rock climbing or visit the natural spa in one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa.

At midday, we'll stop for lunch before making the drive to Amboseli National Park. We'll arrive at our camp in the afternoon and enjoy dinner, then the rest of the day is yours to rest.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

A very special day awaits! First thing in the morning, we'll hop in the car to head out for a game-viewing drive. After 2 hours, we'll return to camp for a well-deserved breakfast. Then, we'll set back out into the park for a full day of adventures.

Throughout our day in Amboseli, we'll explore the grounds in search of its most famous inhabitants. We'll search for zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, with the incredible backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance. During the route, we'll stop for another picnic lunch before continuing on.

Then, in the afternoon, we'll return to camp for dinner before tucking in for the night.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

On our last day, we'll set out for one more early morning game drive. Did you know predators are most active during the early morning? We'll drive for about 2 hours before returning to camp to enjoy breakfast and pack up.

Once we're ready, we'll begin the 4-hour drive back to Nairobi. As we arrive, we'll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, bringing our safari adventure to an end.
