Blend adventure and sightseeing on this kayaking expedition along the Ebro River - discover the diverse flora and fauna as you feel the rush!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier in Mora la Nueva, where we'll receive brief instructions on how to operate the boats before starting our fun kayak tour on the River Ebro!
Not long after we set off, we'll pass by the famed arched bridge of Móra la Nova. Did you know that this bridge had to be rebuilt after the Spanish Civil War? We'll also discuss the locations in which our Iberian ancestors chose to settle, anecdotes about the Battle of the Ebro, and much, much more!
We'll slowly make our way down the river so that you can enjoy the abundant riverside vegetation as we pass it by, especially in front of the Galatxo Islands, as well as the beautiful village area of Castellet de Banyoles.
Along the way, we'll also make a brief stop on an island near Benissanet for a refreshing dip to cool off. Our tour will continue down the Ebro River until we reach the foot of Miravet Castle, a medieval structure that perfectly reflects the architecture of the Order of the Templars!
Finally, we'll leave the kayaks in Miravet and take a minibus that will take us back to the starting point, where we'll arrive at around 12:30 pm.
What are the kayaks like?
On the day of the tour, you can choose between single, double, triple, or four-seater kayaks if you go with children. The price is per person and not per boat.
