Description

The ten main attractions and museums included with the Montpellier City Card are:

  • Museum of Contemporary Art MO.CO.
  • Fabre Museum
  • Brut Art Museum
  • Parcelle473 Urban Art Center
  • Moulages University Museum
  • A glass of wine on the terrace of L'Arbre Blanc
  • One-hour bicycle rental
  • Flaugergues Castle Gardens
  • 10 (US$ 10.90) gift card to the Odysseum Mall for every 2 Montpellier City Cards, valid in restaurants and associated stores. This card must be picked up at the information and customer service kiosk in the mall.
  • One guided tour (reservation required), of which schedule, language, and topic can be chosen from this guide. Please note that some monuments may be closed on Mondays and French public holidays.

Please note that any free admission or discounts are subject to change. Therefore, please consult the schedules of monuments before going since they may vary throughout the year and during holiday periods.

Unlimited public transit

Regardless of which City Card you purchase, your card comes with unlimited 24-hour public transit access, including all TAM buses and trains.

How does it work?

Once you've purchased your card, you'll go to the Tourism Office in Montpellier to pick up your card. The office is at Rue Allée Jean de Lattre de Tassigny, 30.

Your card will be activated when you use it for the first time. You have 24, 48, or 72 hours from there to enjoy its benefits.

Please note that any guided tours require a reservation via the Tourism Office and are subject to change.

Schedules

The Tourism Office of Montpellier, where you can pick up your card, is open:

  • July to September: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm; Sundays and holidays, 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm
  • October to June: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm; Sundays and holidays, 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm
  • Holidays: closed December 25th and January 1st; December 24th and January 1st, the office closes at 5 pm

Please note these schedules are subject to change

Children

  • Montpellier City Card is not available for children
  • For every adult, you may purchase one or two city cards for children aged 6 to 17
  • Children under 6 do not need a Montpellier City Card
