Pizzorno Family Estates Trip
Pizzorno Family Estates Trip
We will pick you up at the hotel at 10 a.m, before heading to the Pizzorno winery, only 12 miles north of Montevideo, to discover the fascinating wine culture of Uruguay.
Accompanied by an expert sommelier, we will visit the Tannat vineyards, regarded as the "national grape" of Uruguay. We will learn how this grape is cultivated and then transformed into the delicious local wine.
Once we have heard all the details of this process, we will head inside the winery to taste the local wine together with a selection of regional meats. The sommelier will explain the differences between the wines and we will discover the characteristics and aromas of each one.
We will return to the hotels of Montevideo at around 2 pm.
Tour with food
When making the booking, you have the option to complement your tour with food at the winery. You will enjoy a complete menu consisting of a starter, a main course, and a dessert, all accompanied by top quality wines. The sommelier will recommend the best pairing for each dish. You can accompany roast beef with a Tannat or enjoy a late harvest wine with dessert.
