Curi Chancha Reserve Hiking

  • 4 reviews | 95 travellers
Incredible. We had Justin as a guide who not only explained the fauna but also curiosities of Monteverde and the flora that surrounds it. We were very lucky to see a toucan and a hummingbird feeding their children. Justin explained everything to us about all the species. Highly recommended!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and go by minibus to the Curi Cancha Reserve! Here, we'll start an enjoyable hike through this wildlife refuge in Monteverde.

We'll start walking along the trails, taking in the beautiful lush vegetation, flowing creeks and fresh air as we enjoy the nature of Costa Rica.

The Curi Cancha Reserve is a true haven for bird enthusiasts, being home to over 200 bird species. If we're lucky, we may be able to see some booby birds, bellbirds, orange-bellied trogons, or even quetzals, along with other beautiful species!

Of course, the reserve is also home to a number of gorgeous mammals, such as howler monkeys, coatis, armadillos and sloths - keep an eye out!

After 3 hours of walking, we'll say our goodbyes and leave you back at your hotel.
