Santiago Day Trip + La Boca Dam Kayak Tour
Day Trip Details
We'll begin this day trip after picking you up from your hotel in Monterrey. Next, we'll make our way to the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Village) of Santiago and, after a 45-minute drive, we'll reach our destination. Once we're here, we'll go on a guided tour of its postcard-pretty streets filled with colours and culture.
In this village, we'll be surrounded by the Sierra Madre and the Cerro de la Silla, adorning the Nuevo León landscapes. Cameras at the ready? You'll want to take loads of pictures! After a relaxing walk, we'll head over to the shores of La Boca Dam to begin this adventure surrounded by nature.
We'll grab the kayaks and, after a safety talk, we'll go on a 2-hour tour along the reservoir's calm waters. Here, we'll get to see up close the scenic richness of the region. It'll be a fascinating experience!
At this point, we're sure all that rowing will have made us hungry, so we'll leave behind the kayaks and walk towards Santiago. You'll then have some free time to grab some food if you wish at a local restaurant. Lastly, we'll meet up once more to go on a tour of a traditional sweets factory. You'll be tempted to try these sweet treats!
6 hours later, the day trip will come to an end back at your hotel in Monterrey.
