Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Monterrey to begin the night tour of this beautiful Mexican city. Ready?
Our first stop will be at Fundidora Park, a place where nature, tradition and culture meet. We'll walk around its spaces and discover why it plays such a fundamental part in Mexican industrial heritage.
Afterwards, we'll make our way to the origin of what is nowadays the capital of the state of Nuevo León: Santa Lucía Springs. This impressive water canal is considered one of the 13 Mexican manmade wonders. Also, did you know it's the longest artificial river in Latin America? It extends to 2.5 kilometres (1.55 miles)!
Our tour will continue around the Macroplaza, the 5th largest public square in the world, which is around 40 hectares (98 acres). There, we'll admire some of the main monuments, such as the Fountain of Life, the Hero's Esplanade, the Municipal Government Palace and the Monterrey Cathedral.
Lastly, we'll head to the old town, which dates back to the 18th century. You'll see the joyful atmosphere that is present in the streets as we appreciate the colonial architecture of some of the houses as we walk around.
Finally, we'll say our goodbyes at the meeting point after 4 hours together.
