Treasure Hunt: The Ride
Ready for a unique family fun activity in Monterey? Treasure Hunt: The Ride is a pirate-themed ride-through experience that’s part ride and part game. This immersive attraction is inspired by the area’s unique history. You'll become part of a pirate adventure as you use interactive devices to collect treasure and ward off danger. Let's go!
During the adventure, you'll be transported through a “newly discovered” system of caverns located underneath Monterey’s historic Cannery Row.
Along this cavernous journey, you'll experience motion, flashing lights, sounds, scents and a light mist. Treasure Hunt: The Ride is a 20-minute adventure that includes immersive show elements, including projection mapping, water sprays, special effects, cannon blasts, fog, and scents.
Ticket Options
During the booking process, you'll be able to choose from the following options:
- Single Ride Ticket: With this option, you'll have a single ride on the attraction.
- Single Ride with Power-Up Token: This option includes a single ride on the attraction and a *Power UP Token. This is a coin that boosts your ability to score points during the ride when collecting treasures and fighting skeleton pirates and ghosts.
- Unlimited Rides DayPass: With this ticket, you'll have unlimited access to the attraction for one day.
- Unlimited Rides DayPass with Power Up Tokens: You'll have unlimited access to the attraction all day, plus *Power UP token coins.
Requirements
A minimum height of 36” (91.44 cm) is required when accompanied by an adult, and a minimum height of 52” (132 cm) when unaccompanied by an adult.
Opening Hours
- Sundays and Mondays: from 11 am to 7 pm
- Tuesday to Thursday: from 12 pm to 5 pm
- Fridays and Saturdays: from 11 am to 8 pm
Please be aware that these opening times may vary. Even though your ticket has a time on it, you can use it at any point during the opening hours.
