Monsanto Private Tour

Do you want to discover one of Portugal's historic towns? At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Matriz de São Salvador Church to begin our private tour of Monsanto.

Monsanto is one of the 12 historic towns of Portugal, known for its impressive beauty and past. Firstly, we'll pass through the narrow streets of Monsanto, admiring the excavations in the rocks that we'll see as we walk.

We'll also be able to see the Castelo de Monsanto, the perfect location to discover the wartime history of the town and hear about its legends. We'll pay attention to the Lucenca and Piao Towers and the half-ruined Chapel of São Miguel.

This private tour will also take us to discover the peculiarities of the natural environment around us, as the town is located in the middle of granite mountains. To top off the tour, we'll also stop off at the ruins of the Chapel of São João.

After 2 hours, we'll return to the starting point, or we'll finish at any point in Monsanto, whatever suits you best.
