House of the Dragon Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Igreja Matriz de São Salvador and begin this tour of the sets of House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones. Are you ready to explore Dragonstone? Let's go!

Not only is Monsanto considered one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, but it can now also boast of being one of the filming locations of House of the Dragon! The popular show recounts what happened 200 years before the events of the famous series Game of Thrones.

During the visit, we'll explore the streets of this small town and discover how places like the Chapel of São Miguel, the Church of Santa Maria do Castelo, and the Castle of Monsanto have been used to film some of the scenes of the series.

Besides telling you many details of the filming of House of the Dragon, the guide will also talk about the most fascinating stories of the "most Portuguese village" in Portugal, which is built into a granite mountain!

Finally, we'll return to the starting point and end the tour after 2 hours of exploring Dragonstone.
