After meeting at 4 pm at your hotel in Mompox, we'll walk to the river dock of this beautiful town in the Colombian department of Bolivar.
Once at the pier, we'll go on a private boat ride on the Mompox arm of the Magdalena River. What's more, we'll admire the scenery of this tributary just as the sun begins to set on the horizon, dyeing this riverside area with vibrant hues of purple, scarlet, and orange.
While we enjoy this romantic sunset and have a snack on board, you'll have plenty of opportunities to photograph this spectacular sunset from the boat. Sunset is actually one of the best times of the day to listen to the pleasant singing of the birds!
During the river crossing, we'll also learn some curiosities about the Mompox branch, whose riverbed is known for its great diversity of animals and native riparian plants.
Finally, we'll conclude the boat trip by returning to the departure pier. From there we'll walk with you to your hotel in Mompox, where we'll arrive at 6:45 pm.
