Abseiling in Canyons in Moab
Description
At the indicated time, we'll leave from 44 W 200 N, Moab, and head towards the Medieval Chamber. Ready to live an exciting adventure in the U.S. Southwest?
Located close to the city, this descent is an absolute classic place to go abseiling in Moab. We'll travel to Sand Flats, where we'll start a walk around the rocky canyon area, a prelude to the two descents we'll make into the canyon.
The first will be at Medieval Chamber, where you'll be able to observe the layers of sandstone that have formed over the years. Then, we'll abseil down Morning Glory, one of the longest natural land bridges in the USA.
Once in the heart of the canyon, we'll walk through Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River, a real treat after all our effort. It'll feel like an oasis in the middle of the desert!
We'll bring our adventure to a close by returning to the meeting point between 4 and 5 hours after pickup.
