Join us on our Great Barrier Reef Snorkelling Activity and swim alongside the world's largest coral reef. You'll learn all about its incredible biodiversity and be served a buffet lunch on the boat.
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet you at the Clump Point Boat Ramp and begin our activity with a safety briefing.
After this short talk, we'll set off on a 1-hour 30-minute boat trip towards the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The spot we choose for our first stop will depend on the sea conditions on the day. This first stop will last around 1 hour, which we'll spend discovering the biodiversity of the coral reefs.
We'll then return to the boat and set sail for the spot where we'll go snorkelling for a second time. During this part of the activity, the crew will serve you a delicious buffet lunch with fresh seafood, salad and tropical fruit.
Once you've had lunch, we'll spend another hour snorkelling and exploring the seabed of the Great Barrier Reef. Colourful fish, sea turtles, manta rays and numerous other marine species await at this marvellously biodiverse reef!
It'll then be time to return to the boat and set course for the mainland. We'll arrive back at the starting point in Mission Beach after a total of 8 hours.
