Tour Highlights

Our journey begins at Mill Ruins Park, where we'll meet up at the designated time. Ready to encounter some of Minneapolis's most spirited residents as we explore the city's eerie history?

We'll begin by learning how, at this picturesque park, a devastating mill explosion in 1878 left a lingering presence. As we walk through the remnants of the old mills, you'll learn about the spirits said to still roam these grounds.

Next, we'll cross the Washington Avenue Bridge, a structure with a dark reputation due to the numerous suicides that have taken place here. The paranormal activity reported at this site adds an unsettling layer to its history.

We'll then visit the iconic Foshay Tower, the first skyscraper built west of the Mississippi River. This towering structure was the brainchild of millionaire Wilbur Foshay, who lost his fortune in the stock market crash. Rumor has it that Foshay's restless spirit continues to haunt the building he once proudly constructed.

Our tour then continues to Minneapolis City Hall, home to an infamous jail where the botched execution of John Moshik took place. His spirit is said to still wander the cells, a grim reminder of the past.

Finally, we'll uncover the story of Richard Miller, an usher at the Guthrie Theatre who tragically took his own life in the late 1960s. Buried in his Guthrie uniform, patrons have reported seeing a mysterious usher in row 18, continuing to assist theatergoers even after death.

After an hour and a half of discovering creepy-crawly stories hidden within downtown Minneapolis, our tour will come to an end and we'll say our goodbyes.
