Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea & explore three of the most famous Aeolian Islands with this excursion from Milazzo. Vulcano, Stromboli & Panarea await!
Vulcano, Stromboli & Panaera Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Via Cavour, and head to the Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo where a boat awaits to take us on an exciting excursion.
We'll set sail for the Aeolian Islands archipelago, a volcanic site protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site boasting stunning landscapes.
Docking in Vulcano, we'll leave you two hours of free time to explore your way around the island. You can hike along the Gran Cratere della Fossa and check out its curious sulfur fumaroles. If you want, you can also take a mud bath in Porto di Levante and enjoy its therapeutic properties.
Then, we'll regroup and sail to Panarea, the smallest island of the Aeolian Islands. Here, you'll have two and a half hours to have lunch and enjoy this paradise at your leisure. Don't miss Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco, a couple of Panarea's most famous beaches!
The last stop of the day will be in Stromboli. During your two hours of free time, we recommend going to Piazza San Vincenzo, where there is a scenic viewpoint offering beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the coast of the island.
At sunset, we'll return to the boat and, as the sun sinks below the horizon, we'll enjoy one of Stromboli's main tourist attractions - see lava gushing out of its hills! An incredible sight that will stay with you forever.
After about 11 hours of excursion, the tour will end with our arrival back at the Port of Milazzo.
Change of Itinerary
Please note that, between 24 July and 30 September 2024, the itinerary will be as follows: first we'll leave Milazzo and stop for 3 hours in Lipari. Then, we'll make another 3-hour stop at Vulcano. Afterwards, we'll see from the Panarea Sea the landscapes of Baja di Calajunco, Dattilo, Bottaro and Lisca Bianca. The route will then continue along the coast of Panarea towards the island of Stromboli. We'll skirt the Strombolicchio and stop to watch the eruption of the Stromboli volcano from the sea. Finally, we'll return to Milazzo.
Important
Given the increasing volcanic activity on Stromboli, in order to guarantee the safety of all tourists, Civil Protection has temporarily suspended all land visits to the island. It will only be possible to admire the island and its volcanic phenomena from the boat and it will not be possible to disembark.
