Lipari, Stromboli & Panarea Excursion
Lipari, Stromboli & Panarea Excursion
We'll meet on Via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo, very close to the port of Milazzo, where we'll welcome you aboard a boat for an incredible excursion to three of the main islands of the Aeolian archipelago.
First, we'll sail along the coast of Vulcano in the direction of Lipari. After docking at the port of Marina Corta, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to explore at your leisure. You can walk around the historic center of Lipari and see the ruins of the castle, visit the Church of Santa Caterina, the Lipari Cathedral.... It's up to you!
Then, we'll return to the boat and set course for Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands and also the most luxurious. Did you know that this isle is a favorite vacation spot of many celebrities? Once we arrive, we'll leave you two hours free to have lunch and tour the area. Be sure to check out Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco, two of the island's most emblematic beaches!
Next stop? Stromboli. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire the small islets of Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Basiluzzo and Spinazzola from the boat. Once we arrive at the famous island of Stromboli, you'll have another two hours free to explore. We recommend going up to Piazza San Vincenzo - one of the best views on this day trip!
At sunset, the group will reconvene. Then, as the sun's rays begin to dip below the horizon, we'll skirt the small island of Strombolicchio and enjoy the magical spectacle that makes Stromboli famous: we'll see how lava gushes from the hills of the Sciara del Fuoco!
After 13 hours of excursion, we'll return to the port of Milazzo, concluding the tour.
Important
Given the increasing volcanic activity on Stromboli, in order to guarantee the safety of all tourists, Civil Protection has temporarily suspended all land visits to the island. It will only be possible to admire the island and its volcanic phenomena from the boat and it will not be possible to disembark.
