Let yourself be captivated by the beautiful alpine scenery of Switzerland with this tour to Interlaken from Milan on the Green Train of the Alps.

Interlaken & Swiss Alps Green Train Tour

We'll meet at the scheduled time at Piazza Duca D'Aosta to take a bus to the north of Italy.

Leaving the capital of Lombardy behind us, we'll soon arrive in Domodossola. In this town, located in the Italian region of Piedmont, we'll board the Trenino Verde, or the Green Train of the Alps, to travel across the border into Switzerland. The scenic two-hour train ride will take us through incredible landscapes, including the Simplon mountain pass, located at an altitude of 2008 metres.

After entering the beautiful Swiss alpine landscapes, we'll get off at the station in the alpine village of Spiez. You'll have time to get lunch here and taste the delicious local Swiss specialities. After eating, we'll meet back up in the centre of the village for a boat trip on Lake Thun to the town of Interlaken.

During the cruise on Lake Thun, we'll get to admire the silhouettes of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks, three outstanding mountains in the Swiss Alps. Once we arrive in Interlaken, you'll be free to explore its picturesque historic centre at your leisure, where you'll find a multitude of Swiss chocolate shops - tasty!

In the afternoon, we'll meet up again in the centre of Interlaken to take the Green Train back to Domodossola. Finally, from Domodossola we'll return to Milan by bus. Arrival at the original meeting point is scheduled for approximately 11 hours after the initial start time.

Aclarando dudas que yo tenía: Se toma un autobús de 1hra y 30 min a Domossola, se toma tren como de 40 min, se hace transbordo a otro tren de más de 1hra, se baja en Spitz y se sube al bote por otra hora, llegada a Interlaken y se está ahí por 1hra y 30 min y se regresa en el tren a Spitz (15min) y se hace el mismo recorrido de regreso. Es mucho tiempo en transporte pero las vistas valen la pena, hay baños, recomiendo llevar su propia comida y con ingles básico es suficiente para entender. Translate this opinion into English.

Clarifying doubts that I had: You take a 1 hour and 30 minute bus to Domossola, take a train of about 40 minutes, change to another train of more than 1 hour, get off at Spitz and get on the boat for another hour, Arrival in Interlaken and you are there for 1 hour and 30 minutes and you return by train to Spitz (15 minutes) and do the same route back. It takes a long time in transportation but the views are worth it, there are bathrooms, I recommend bringing your own food and basic English is enough to understand. Opinion translated.
