Tour Details
Meet your guide in Milan city centre, where your complete guided tour of one of Italy's most important cities will begin. We'll make our first stop at the Sforza Castle: the former residence of the Sforza family and once one of the largest citadels in Europe, these days it is home to a number of museums and art galleries. After seeing its impressive exterior and elegant fountain, we'll head into the heart of Milan.
Reaching the Piazza del Duomo, we'll pause to marvel at one of the largest and most striking Gothic cathedrals in the world. Its sheer size and the details of its architecture will leave you speechless. You'll soon see why this is Milan's most photographed monument! We'll then be lucky enough to enter the Duomo to see its impressive central nave, where an important relic is located. What will it be? Find out on the tour!
Leaving the cathedral behind, we'll head over to the majestic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, an elegant shopping arcade and a symbol of the glamour for which the Italian city, considered one of the world's fashion capitals, is famous. The splendour of the stores and the dazzling glass roof will leave you in awe.
After leaving La Scala you'll walk over to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, inside which you'll find one of the greatest masterpieces in the world: the enigmatic Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. You can't leave Milan without seeing it!
The duration of the entire tour plus the visit to the Last Supper is between 3 and 3.5 hours in total.
