Milan Ghost Tour

With her apparently inoffensive appearance, nobody would have ever thought that a woman who had devoted her life to the church would become a murderer... On our first stop, we'll listen to the stories of corruption surrounding the most famous nun in Milan.

We'll continue exploring the link between death and religion at the San Bernardino alle Ossa church, the locals in the land of the living could never have imagined that their bones and skulls would later be used to reinforce (and even decorate) the walls of this temple.

Next, we'll head to the Duomo de Milan, where many people claim to have seen a spooky figure dressed in black appearing in photos behind newlyweds. In the Piazza del Duomo we'll admire the illuminated façade of the famous cathedral whilst discovering the turbulent history of this legendary widow and how love doesn't always have a happy ending.

Our journey will continue past the so-called House of the Devil and we'll discover why the ghost of Lucrezia Borgia has been wandering aimlessly in search of a lover for over 500 years.

Perhaps love (or rather his frustration) was also the main reason for the next figure we'll talk about: Italy's first serial killer. Although more lives were taken by the great plague, and its traces can still be seen in the historical centre of Milan. After discovering the darker side of the city, our tour will come to an end by the Colonne di San Lorenzo.
