Day Trip to Lugano + Bellinzona
Itinerary
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the designated meeting point and set off on a day that's sure to be full of beautiful landscapes!
As we leave northern Italy behind and cross the border, we'll enter the territory of Ticino. The southernmost canton of Switzerland awaits us! The first stop in the neighboring country is at the Alprose factory, where we'll check out how their delicious chocolates are made.
After the chocolate factory, we'll continue the tour in Lugano. In this picturesque city, you'll have two hours of free time to stroll along the shores of the Lugano Lake, taste its famous culinary delights, and visit the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. You can also take the opportunity to go shopping in its charming historic center.
In the afternoon, we'll reconvene in the center of Lugano to continue our trip through southern Switzerland, heading towards Bellinzona. Arriving in this dream town, we'll pass by the Castles of Castelgrande and Montebello, and marvel at their facades.
Afterwards, you'll have another hour of free time in Bellinzona to stroll through its old town of medieval origin, go shopping and have a drink.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point 13 hours later.
