Mijas Free Tour
Description
At the time you choose, we'll meet up at the Plaza Virgen de la Peña square. Then, you'll see the famous donkey taxis of Mijas, a peculiar transport that has become a symbol of the town.
The hermitage of the Virgin de la Peña is another stop on the first part of the tour. After meeting the patron saint of Mijas, we'll explore the beautiful whitewashed streets decorated with colorful flowers until we reach the fascinating Museum House of the old town hall.
From here, we'll head to the San Sebastian Street, a must on any visit to Mijas. High up in La Muralla park, you'll enjoy incredible Costa del Sol views. This is the perfect moment to take thousands of pictures!
Finally, we'll visit the charming church of the Immaculate Conception, built on the remains of the ancient mosque of Mijas. We'll finish the tour by returning to the original starting point after a little more than an hour.
