Why Visit the Miami Museum of Science?
Officially named the Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science, the Miami Museum of Science is home to one of the most important interactive exhibitions in Florida.
With this ticket, you can explore this museum located in Maurice A. Ferré Park, on the coast of Biscayne Bay. This complex has four different buildings to discover the way the world works: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, the North Wing, and the West Wing.
The North Wing and the West Wing have six floors of exhibitions to learn about the biodiversity of the Everglades ecosystems. You'll also see the innovations and evolution of aerospatial science, as well as learn many fun facts in the different interactive exhibitions.
In the Frost Planetarium, with a capacity of 250 spectators, you'll enjoy large-scale immersive 3D experiences with surround sound. Among its main attractions are projections that take you on a thrilling journey through space, a dive into a vibrant coral reef, or an exciting passage through a DNA chain!
The Aquarium has three different levels. The first is The Vista, dedicated to the ecosystems of southern Florida and the Gulf Stream. Get ready to see devil rays and hammerhead sharks! On the second level, The Dive, you'll discover the different species living in the depths of the underwater ecosystems.
The last level of the museum's aquarium is The Deep, where you'll see jellyfish and other marine species that inhabit the vast depths of the Gulf Stream. You'll surely be surprised by this current's biodiversity!
