Downtown Miami Free Tour
Description
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll meet at the square in front of the University of Miami-Dale, a place that holds numerous hidden details that we'll uncover before embarking on our journey. Then, we'll set off exploring the rest of downtown Miami. Ready? Let's go!
We'll make our way through this bustling part of the city by crossing its wide streets and passing by emblematic monuments such as the Freedom Tower and Bayside, the city park next to Biscayne Bay. Bayside is a stunning marketplace that offers a fantastic range of tourist attractions, with great places to shop and eat as well. As we walk, we'll learn about how the youthful and vibrant city of Miami, which was founded in the 19th century, has continued to grow and flourish over the years.
Throughout this tour, it'll become clear that Miami is home to some of the most famous people on the planet. Notable celebrities like The Rock, Lebron James, Matt Damon and Pitbull all live here!
Beyond this, as we continue our tour of Miami, we'll check out the city's most important museums and the multiple urban art displays, such as the large murals on skyscrapers or the many statues that are dotted along the streets.
We'll also take advantage of Miami's free, self-driving trains. From these trains, we'll be able to get some amazing views of the city. In particular, we'll get up close and personal with the financial district's impressive skyscrapers.
Before we say our goodbyes, we'll visit the Brickel district, where we'll be able to check out the oldest remains of human civilisation in the city. Any idea from which period this civilisation originates? We'll find out!
After 2.5 hours, this tour of downtown Miami will come to an end in the Brickel neighbourhood, one of the most exclusive areas of the city. See you again soon!
