Veggie Food Tour of Mexico City
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Río de Janeiro Square in the Roma neighbourhood to begin this culinary experience. Get ready to taste some of the best vegetarian and vegan dishes in Mexico City!
We'll begin our tour at a tlacoyo stand, where you can try this delicious pre-Hispanic speciality. This delicacy is particularly difficult to find outside of Mexico!
Next, we'll visit a restaurant that specialises in vegan seafood. Here, you'll have the chance to taste their famous aguachile on toasted bread, fish-style empanada, mushroom and palm heart cocktail, and even a 'taco a la diabla' for the more adventurous.
Our next stop will be a market where you can try some seasonal fruit and take part in making a placero taco. The guacamole is freshly made right there!
Afterwards, we'll make our way to a street food stand famous for its vegan al pastor tacos, paired with a soft drink or water. To end the tour on a high note, we'll also indulge in some churros and chocolate. The perfect sweet treat!
Lastly, after a total of 3-4 hours exploring Mexico City's veggie food, we'll say our goodbyes close to the Parque México, in the Condesa neighbourhood.
