Valle de Bravo Day Trip

At 7:45 am we'll meet in the centre of Mexico City to board a minibus and set off for the town of Valle de Bravo. After a two and a half hour journey we'll arrive in this beautiful town and begin to explore its streets to discover its most emblematic places.

We'll start the day at the Carmel Maranatha house of prayer, a convent of the Carmelite Order. We'll head inside and learn all about this monument and the Carmelite faith.

Next we'll head to the Velo de Novia Natural Park to see its magnificent waterfall, as well as go up to a 30-metre high viewpoint to admire the breathtaking scenery.

Our next stop will be on the shores of Lake Avándaro where we'll have 1h30 to enjoy lunch on your own with spectacular views.

With our batteries recharged, we'll visit the famous Cristo Negro, one of Valle de Bravo's main tourist attractions. The guide will tell us all about the legends that surround this iconic symbol of the city that still to this day has many secrets to reveal.

At the end of the trip we'll hop on the minibus and make our way back to Mexico City, arriving by around 6 pm.
