Tour of Teotihuacán + Tula
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the chosen meeting point in Mexico City and make our way to the archaeological site of the ancient prehispanic city of Teotihuacán.
Once we arrive, we'll take a guided tour where we'll take in the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. During the tour, we'll learn about the mysterious rituals that were once carried out here. We'll also be told about the enigmatic murals that have been so well-conserved at this location.
After visiting Teotihuacán, we'll visit an obsidian workshop and join a tequila-tasting activity. At the end of this activity, you'll have free time for lunch.
Then, we'll make our way to an archaeological site. Here, we'll discover the wonderous ancient city of Quetzalcoatl, the home of the Toltec culture. At this site, we'll discover the splendour of the ancient city of Quetzalcoatl, home of the Toltec culture and once the capital of the central highlands of Mesoamerica, spanning 16 square kilometres (6.1 square miles).
During our visit, we'll speak to you about the fascinating aspects that comprise the site of Tula, discussing the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl, Burnt Palace, the Central Altar, the Coatepantli, the ballcourts, and the Tzompantli, as well as the botanical garden.
