At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel. From here, we'll head to the Cacahuamilpa Caves National Park, which is sure to amaze you!
Upon arrival, we'll enter through the huge rock gate where a majestic landscape formed by erosion will be waiting for us. We'll walk through the corridors and explore the nooks and crannies of the Cacahuamilpa Caves to learn all about these geological formations. You might even see peculiar animal figures and faces in the formations!
Afterwards, we'll go to the Magic Town of Taxco so you can have lunch on your own. You can try dishes like mole rosa or chalupas de Tixtla. The gastronomy of this town is sure to delight you! At the end of lunch, we'll take the cable car down to Taxco's main square.
Once in the Zócalo, we'll meet our guide for the guided tour of Taxco. We'll stop in front of the temple of Santa Prisca, where the guide will tell you about how the town preserves its colonial baroque Novo-Hispanic style.
Before ending the tour, we'll make a short stop to visit the silver and handicraft stores and enjoy some free time to stroll around and get to know the historic center.
Finally, we'll return to Mexico City, arriving after 11 hours of excursion.
