Let's meet at the National Museum of Art and embark on a comprehensive tour of the museum's collection. Throughout its halls, we'll travel in time through Mexico's vibrant history as we admire several iconic works all under the same roof!
Throughout our tour, we'll explore five centuries of Mexican history. We'll learn about the early trends that set the stage for the Muralist movement, and delve into the new art forms that emerged in the modern era. Fun fact: this museum houses the most important collection of public art in all of Mexico.
Alongside our knowledgeable guide, we'll visit the diverse gallery rooms throughout the museum's permanent collection on display. We'll admire works depicting breathtaking Mexican landscapes and sculptures from the San Carlos School. Our tour will culminate in front of masterpieces by Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros, who spearheaded the iconic Muralist movement.
